Sheth award to honor international students
Nominations are being accepted for the third annual Sheth Distinguished International Alumni Award.

The award recognizes Emory international students who have gone on to achieve prominence in their life’s work. Nominations will be accepted until Dec. 5. Forms and information are available at the Office of International Affairs or online at www.emory.edu/OIA/news/sheth2.htm. The award will be presented at the International Award banquet, March 31, 2004.

Event honors 50 years of coeducation at Emory College
A full day of activities on Thursday, Dec. 4, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of women at Emory College. The day begins at 9:30 a.m. with a coffee and danish reception, followed by a panel discussion at 10:30 a.m., featuring a number of Emory alumnae. A luncheon features a keynote speech from former Congress-woman Tillie Kidd Fowler (’64C, ’67L). University Archivist Ginger Cain (’77C, ’82G) will then present “An Historical and Humorous Reflection of Women at Emory: 1953–2003.” Cost is $25 per person and reservations are required for lunch. Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, Dec. 6

The University Chorus and Concert Choir will present its Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols III in Glenn Auditorium, Saturday, Dec. 6, at 8 p.m.
