Woodruff
to install compact shelving:
The fourth floor of Woodruff Library soon will look quite different,
as this summer will see the installation of compact, movable shelving
that will increase the floor’s capacity by two-thirds. During
the eight-month-long project, some 150,000 volumes in call numbers QA–Z
will be temporarily relocated to an off-site storage facility on Clifton
Road. Project manager Charles Forrest said, along with the shelving
installation, the work also will create a comfortable fourth-floor sitting
area overlooking Baker Woodlands. Click here
