PCSW now accepting applications for 2003–04
The President’s Commission on the Status of Women (PCSW) is now accepting nominations and applications for membership.

Cardiovascular conference accepting reservations
Reservations for the upcoming Emory Practical Interventional Course (EPIC) are being accepted through March 17.

EPIC, an update on practical issues of interventional cardiovascular medicine, will take place May 1–3 at the Emory Conference Center Hotel. The School of Medicine has designated this continuing medical education activity for a maximum of 20 hours in Category 1 credit toward the Physician’s Recognition Award of the American Medical Association.


Reception to celebrate Special Collections exhibition opening
Selected items from the J. Durelle Boles Collection of Southern Imprints will be on display in an exhibition opening this week in Special Collections of Woodruff Library.

An opening reception, to be held March 5 at 7 p.m. in the library’s Jones Room, will feature remarks from Boles and from William Reese, a noted expert on American print culture. The event is free and open to the public.

 

Emory Report will not publish during the week of March 10 due to spring break. ER will resume publication on March 17.
