'Many Voices' speak on war with Iraq: Students were encouraged to attend the Classroom on the Quad, March 26, and a great many did just that. Over the two-hour program, subtitled “U.S. & Iraq: Many Voices,” those students, along with a significant number of faculty and staff, listened to 25 speakers offer a litany of well-argued opinions on the United States’ invasion of Iraq. While those opinions often were divergent, the COQ atmosphere was far from divisive. Politeness and decorum was the order of the day as both those on stage and in the audience treated each viewpoint with respect. Click here or above for the full story. Photo by Ann Borden.

Interim Provost Woody Hunter and his wife, Susan, cut the ribbon that dedicated the new Howard O. Hunter Atrium in the law school's Gambrell Hall, in a ceremony held March 21. Located just outside
Tull Auditorium, the renamed Hunter Atrium commemorates Hunter's 12 years as the school's dean (1989-2001). “I am deeply honored and touched, and I thank all of those who participated in making it possible,” Hunter said. More than 200 law alumni and friends made contributions to rename the space. Photo by Ann Borden.
