Emeritus College event honors professor
A symposium to honor Donald McCormick, Professor of Biochemistry Emeritus, will be held Thursday, April 15, at 2 p.m. in the Houston Mill House. Co-sponsored by Emeritus College and the Department of Biochemistry, "Vitamins & Health: A Biochemical Perspective" will feature a wine reception, seated dinner and four speakers from around the Southeast gathered to honor McCormick, who spent more than 20 years on the Emory faculty.

Panel to explore copyright issues
The Provost's Program in Manuscript Development will host an informal panel discussion concerning copyright and permission issues in a variety of scholarly endeavors, Thursday, April 15, from 4-6 p.m. in Cox Hall.

Panelists will include Matthew Bernstein (film studies), Doris Kirby (Information Technology), Sara Stadler Nelson (law) and Kim Loudermilk (arts and sciences).

Total Sports Academy now accepting campers
Emory Total Sports Academy is accepting registration for children ages 5-18 for its series of weekly camps running from June 7-July 2. The academy, under co-directors Brett Zuver and John Browning (Emory's men's basketball and men's tennis coaches, respectively), is for boys and girls who have yet to commit to one specific sport.

The camp will feature the teaching of fundamentals, team competition and a daily pool party. Featured sports include basketball, soccer, swimming, tennis and volleyball.
