CIGNA claims reminder–don't delay

Katherine Hinson is director of HR communications.

Emory's contract with CIGNA ended Dec. 31, 2003, and employees with outstanding CIGNA claims for 2003 should file them now. All claims must be paid by Dec. 31 of this year, so claims should be submitted early in case CIGNA needs additional information.

CIGNA claim forms can be found under the "Forms & Brochures" section of the Human Resources website at http://emory.hr.emory.edu/. Contact a benefits representative for further information.

Flexible Spending Account Reimbursement
Employees have until March 30 to submit claims for reimbursement of 2003 flexible spending accounts (FSAs). Anyone who misses the deadline will lose the money in the FSA. Beneflex claim forms are available under "Forms & Brochures" on the HR website.

Research job fair, March 19
On March 19 in Cox Hall from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m., HR will sponsor a research job fair designed to help faculty fill current or anticipated research openings in their labs. The job fair focuses primarily on the following positions: research specialist, research specialist lead, research specialist senior, postdoctoral and other related positions (except research nurses).

Interested faculty must pre-register by logging onto http://emory.hr.emory.edu/faculty.
