Meeting to discuss transit issues
MARTA’s Inner Core Transit Feasibility Study will be discussed at a meeting on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 4 p.m in the Rita Anne Rollins Room on the eighth floor of the Rollins School of Public Health.

MARTA’s is seeking comments on its study of two potential transit concepts: the Beltline and the C-Loop (which would provide rail service from the Emory campus). The C-Loop proposes connecting sections of DeKalb County, downtown Atlanta, the Atlanta University Center, the west side of downtown and Emory. The Beltline concept envisions a transit corridor and linear park (with a bike/walking/running trail) woven through the city connecting MARTA stations and numerous neighborhoods.

For those who cannot attend the meeting but who would like to submit their
comments on the study, please contact the study team by e-mail at contact_peq@bellsouth.net or fax comments to 770-306-7754. For additional information, visit www.itsmarta.com.
