Employee Council wrapped up the 2003 calendar year with a light schedule, Dec. 17 in Woodruff Library’s Jones Room.

Gloria Weaver, director of the Office of Disability Services in the Office of Equal Opportunity Programs, gave the presentation “Communication: The Key to a Healthy (Diverse) Work Environment,” and discussed workplace dynamics in a multicultural environment.

Special issues chair Susie Lackey said her committee continues to explore performance evaluation policies throughout campus, and membership chair Cheryl Sroka reminded the council that officer nominations for the 2004–05 council will be accepted through Feb. 18.

The next Employee Council meeting will be held at noon, Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the
Yerkes National Primate Research Center.
