MARTA to hold hearing in Rollins School, Jan. 22
To provide information on two proposed transit lines that will have a significant impact on Emory, MARTA is holding a public hearing on Thursday, Jan. 22, from 4 to 6 pm, in the Rita Ann Rollins Room in the Rollins School of Public Health.

One proposal, the “C-loop,” would provide much-needed transit from the Clifton Corridor to the MARTA Lindbergh station. The number of comments provided to the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) during the hearing process is a major consideration in the ARC’s final recommendations. Many transportation proposals compete for very limited funding, and unless the ARC receives a substantial number of supportive comments for the C-Loop, it could be delayed even further into the future.
