Acclaim

Sara Markowitz was named a runner-up for the 2009 Georgescu-Roegen Prize by the Southern Economic Association.

Markowitz, associate professor of economics at Emory College, received the honor as co-author of an article titled, “The Relationship between Suicidal Behavior and Productive Activities of Young Adults” published in the Southern Economic Journal.
