Writing fellows open reading series
The first event in the Creative Writing Program Reading Series this semester will be a joint reading with fiction writer Oindrila Mukherjee and poet Heather Christle on Monday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Jones Room of the Woodruff Library.
Mukherjee is the program’s new Fellow in Fiction and is a Ph.D. graduate of the University of Houston. Christle, whose poetry collection “The Difficult Farm” was recently published by Octopus Books, is the program’s new Fellow in Poetry. She comes to Emory with an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
