Jefferson Award nominations sought
The Thomas Jefferson Award, presented each year at the Commencement ceremony, provides the Emory community the opportunity to honor a member of the faculty or staff for significant personal service through personal activities, influence and leadership.
Ron Schuchard, recipient of the Thomas Jefferson Award in 2009 and chair of the 2010 selection committee, is seeking nominations for the 2010 honoree. Any University employee may make a nomination by sending to the selection committee an original letter of nomination and the nominee’s CV or resume.
The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. on Feb. 24. Nominations may be submitted to Associate Vice Provost for Academic and Strategic Partnerships Alicia Franck.
