Women's club dinner, auction will benefit children's infusion therapy room

The annual dinner and auction of the Emory University Women’s Club celebrates the club’s 91st anniversary while benefiting the Emory Children’s Center Infusion Therapy Room.

“The funds we generate will be used to expand the infusion therapy room and enable the purchase of such items as a TV, refrigerator, games and furnishings for patients and families during the hours-long therapies to make their stay more comfortable,” says Nancy Smith, club co-president, adding “one hundred percent of the funds raised” will be used for the center, which serves children up to age 16.

The event will be Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Miller-Ward Alumni House. Space is limited so responses are requested by Feb. 13.  Cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m. during which time the silent auction will be held. Dinner follows at 7: 30 p.m.
