Diary uncovers Faulkner find

Emory English professor Sally Wolff King has been following author William Faulkner’s trail for decades. But during an interview with Emory alumnus Edgar Wiggin Francisco III, who knew Faulkner, something unexpected emerged: a family diary that turned out to be a much-used source by the famous Southern writer.

Wolff King has detailed the discovery in The Southern Literary Journal and a book on the topic is forthcoming from LSU Press in June.
