Provost's lecture looks at community

Provost Earl Lewis will give his annual address on Wednesday, April 21, at 4 p.m. at the Center for Ethics, Room 102. Free and open to the public, the talk is titled “Building an Inclusive University Community: History, Challenges and Opportunities.”

“This year I hope to ask questions about how the history of race and segregation inform contemporary relations and perhaps limit our ability to think in new ways about building inclusive communities,” notes Lewis, executive vice president for academic affairs and the Asa Griggs Candler Professor of History and African American Studies.
