Get single tickets for arts events


Pianist and conductor Piotr Anderszewski will accompany the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

Emory faculty, staff and students can begin purchasing single tickets, for which they get a discount, for all Arts at Emory events on Wednesday, Sept. 8.

The tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, Sept. 10.

Tickets, at full price only, can be purchased online by calling 404.727.5050, or by visiting the Arts at Emory Box Office in the Schwartz Center between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Currently on sale are tickets for the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge on Sept. 17 at 8 p.m.

Some highlights of the fall semester include: Theater Emory’s Pulitzer Prize-winning season featuring performances of “Rent ” and “You Can’t Take It With You”; a fusion of dance and live music in “Staibdance, Vega String Quartet, and William Ransom: In Concert”; and performances by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra with pianist and conductor Piotr Anderszewski and the Venice Baroque Orchestra with violin soloist and leader Robert McDuffie.

Subscription packages for the 2010-11 Candler Concert Series are available; Emory employees receive additional discounts on subscriptions.
