Get tickets for Emory-only event with Dalai Lama

Emory faculty, staff and students can sign up now for a lottery for tickets to an exclusive event by the His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama.

The Professor’s Office Hours will be Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Woodruff P.E. Center. President Jim Wagner will moderate the town-hall style conversation.

There are 1,500 free general-admission bleacher tickets available through a random drawing on Sept. 7.

Reserved floor-seat tickets will be available for purchase — also only by current Emory faculty, staff and students — on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. Costs are $5, $10 and $15, depending on section and there is a $3-4 fee in service charges. Check dalailama.emory.edu for information on purchasing a reserved seat.

See the lottery site to register for a free ticket (Emory e-mail address required). Lottery registration will close at 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 6.
