Thorpe on health care reform impact
Kenneth Thorpe will speak about the impact of the health care reform policy at the Department of Emergency Medicine’s Grand Rounds, Sept. 21 , at 11 a.m. in Steiner Auditorium at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Thorpe is the Robert W. Woodruff Professor and chair of the department of health policy and management and executive director of Emory’s Institute for Advanced Policy Solutions.
He also serves as the executive director of the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease. Thorpe regularly testifies before U.S. Senate and House committees on many aspects of health care reform, including disease prevention, wellness and coordination of care.
