Habitat exec to give Morgan lecture

"Housing, Health and Women: Partners Against Poverty" is the topic of the 12th annual Mary Lynn Morgan Lecture set for Thursday, Nov. 4, in the Oxford Road Building.

Elizabeth Blake, senior vice president – advocacy, government affairs and general counsel of Habitat For Humanity International Inc., will give the lecture.

A reception will be held at 4 p.m. in the Oxford Road Building’s Living Room, followed at 5 p.m. by Blake’s talk in the Presentation Room.

The Mary Lynn Morgan Annual Lecture on Women and Health was founded by the Center for Women in 1999. It honors Morgan, an alumna of Emory School of Dentistry and member of the Board of Trustees. The lecture series brings to campus women who have distinguished themselves in a variety of roles in the health professions.
