Schools' new websites emphasize values, people

Two of Emory’s schools recently launched new websites:

Goizueta Business School

Candler School of Theology

Right before the Thanksgiving holidays, Goizueta Business School rolled out the first stage in a multi-part redesign, featuring a new navigation system. It’s designed for easier sharing of content on social networks and ups the focus on details about the school, events, faculty, students and more.

One of the first features added is “The Goizueta Advantage,” which discusses the school’s offerings to students, alumni and more. And the new Goizueta Newsroom is also helping to tell the business school’s story. New features are planned for additional phases.

Candler used the holiday timing for the launch of its new website when prospective students are likely to be exploring their options for theology school, says Laurel Hanna, director of communications.

In conjunction with the new website, the marketing campaign uses the word “Real” to spotlight Candler’s values.

"The new site showcases how Candler prepares real people to make a real difference in the real world," Hanna says, with stories about Candler's students, alumni, and faculty doing things to promote real transformation in the real world of the church and the community.
