Take Note

Express Clinic free for employees

All Emory employees, Healthcare and University, can get free treatment at Emory's Express Care Clinic.

Common illnesses such as influenza-like sickness, sinus problems, common cold, ear pain, rashes, urinary pain, pink eye and musculoskeletal injuries — damage to bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments or nerves — are evaluated and treated at two locations: Emory University Hospital and EUH Midtown.

Visits are by appointment only (see sidebar for hours and contact information).

Chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol are not treated there.  Occupational-related injuries and exposures take priority over appointments.

Four nurse practitioners and two physical therapists staff the clinic.

Besides the benefits of geographic convenience, enhanced access to care and earlier intervention in illness, the clinic aims to decrease absenteeism and "presenteeism," working while sick.
