Pharmacy adds online refills, bedside delivery
A new website and new features, including online refills and bedside delivery, are the latest the Pharmacy at Emory's additions for convenience.
Opened 10 months ago, the onsite pharmacy, located at the Emory Clinic, is filling over 100 prescriptions a day. Pharmacy patrons can refill prescriptions online then pick up the medication later at the pharmacy.
Medications from the pharmacy can be delivered directly to rooms of patients at Emory University Hospital and the Winship Cancer Institute Infusion Center between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The pharmacy has also begun daily delivery service to residents at Wesley Woods.
The pharmacy fills prescriptions from both Emory and non-Emory doctors. And it sells general health and wellness supplies, like supplements or bandages.
