21st century education is provost's topic

"Shaping a Class in the 21st Century: Considerations at the Undergraduate, Graduate and Professional Levels" is the title for Provost Earl Lewis’ annual spring address. He will speak on this topic Thursday, April 28 at 4 p.m. in Room 102 of the Center for Ethics.

Lewis will look at the big picture of higher education in the United States and internationally, then consider where Emory is now and where the University is going.

The topic builds on a project in development in the Provost’s Office wherein the provost is working with the deans of Emory’s undergraduate schools to create a strategic enrollment plan for undergraduate education at Emory.

The talk is free and open to the public.
