Emory Mobile expands

Emory Mobile, the University's suite of apps, is now available for BlackBerry and Android smartphones.

Many of the same functions and features are available on the suite of apps, which were launched for the iPhone in August 2010.

The full suite of Emory Mobile apps allows users of all three devices to:

• Look up contact information for Emory faculty, staff and students, connect easily via e-mail or phone and store contact information with a few taps.

• Search for Atlanta and Oxford campus buildings by name or address and view the relative location on GPS-enabled devices. Zoom in or track your progress if the device supports GPS.

• Catch up on news from around Emory, including Emory Report, The Emory Wheel and individual school news.

• Follow Emory Eagles varsity teams with news, schedules and real-time scores.

To get Emory Mobile on a BlackBerry device (OS 4.2 and higher), go to the Blackberry App World.

To get the suite for Android devices, go to the Android Market.

For the iPhone or iPod touch, go to the iTunes AppStore and search for "Emory Mobile."
