Take Note

Find a summer sublet or other off-campus housing

Looking for a summer sublet? Do you want to rent an apartment for the upcoming school year?

Stop scouring Craig's List and try Emory's Off-Campus Housing Finder.

Emory's Office of Residence Life and Housing provides the online resource, much like a public bulletin board, where you can find and post housing listings close to campus. The office says that the program is provided as a free service primarily to students, faculty and staff, but is open to others looking to live in the Emory area.

You can search for properties according to how many bedrooms and bathrooms, or if they're pet-friendly. There is also a feature that allows properties to be viewed on a map.

For property owners and landlords, the Off-Campus Housing Finder allows you to list your property in a way that makes it easy and attractive for potential renters or buyers to find you. Listings stay active for two weeks, and can easily be renewed.

The site offers tips for property owners as well as buyers and renters, and lists frequently asked questions. The Office of Residence Life and Housing notes that the University is not accountable for the accuracy or legitimacy of the user-posted information.
