Nominate artists and arts advocates for Creativity & Arts Awards
The call for nominations for the annual Creativity & Arts Awards is now open from the Emory College Center for Creativity & Arts.
Two annual Community Impact awards recognize contributions made to the arts in Atlanta by artists, administrators, educators, activists or supporters in any or all disciplines. All nominees must have worked or resided in DeKalb or Fulton counties.
Nominations are also being accepted for awards that recognize contributions made by an Emory alumnus, faculty member, student, staff member, and campus arts volunteer to the artistic community at Emory.
Submit nominations by 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1.
Winners will be announced at the Emory Creativity & Arts Soiree on Friday, Sept. 9 at Emory's Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts. The soiree features performances and activities as well as a taste of the 2011-2012 Arts at Emory season.
