For the second year, Emory students, staff and faculty will dedicate a day to drawing across campus.

For the second year, Emory students, staff and faculty will dedicate a day to drawing across campus. At the Emory Big Draw on Wednesday, Oct. 5 free sketchpads and pencils will be available at Wonderful Wednesday on Asbury Circle and at the Michael C. Carlos Museum so that all can partake in the festivities.

The day's events, held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., include sketching at easels during Wonderful Wednesday, architectural drawing with University Architect Jen Fabrick, a mural along the Cox Hall bridge, and open drawing in the Carlos Museum.

No artistic talent is required to participate in this campus-wide day of creativity. Just pick up a writing utensil and start drawing!

The Emory Big Draw is sponsored by the Carlos Museum, Visual Arts Department, Art History Department, Office of the University Architect, Dance Program, Center for Creativity & Arts, and Wonderful Wednesday.

More than 1,000 venues take part annually in the International Big Draw held from Oct. 1-31, the largest drawing festival in the world.

Free and open to the public. For more information, visit arts.emory.edu.
