Carter Town Hall carries on tradition of inquiry

More than 1,800 Emory freshmen filled the Woodruff P.E. Center for the 30th annual Carter Town Hall held Sept. 14.

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, who is University Distinguished Professor at Emory, answered written questions from students – ranging from what he thinks about former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, and what he loves about Emory.
