Jeffrey Shiau is our featured, contributing photographer for MINT: Emory’s Financial Literacy Newsletter. Jeffrey is a senior in the Emory College of Arts and Sciences. He enjoys taking on creative projects in photography, creative writing, film making, and anything else that tickles his creative appetite.

Jeffrey’s creative endeavors have included talk show host on WMRE, Emory’s radio station and filmmaking. Jeffrey Shiau’s Production team has created and produced short films: “Walking Permitted” and “Repose” for the Campus MovieFest (CFM). Originated in 2001, CFM showcases the works of aspiring young filmmakers across the nation. “Walking Permitted” was selected as a finalist in the 2013 competition. Jeffrey’s life goals include: to see as much of the world as he possibly can; meet as many awesome people as he can; and to accomplish as many amazing things as he can. Jeffrey describes himself as a thinker, a writer, an artist, a doer, an athlete, a traveler, a human being and a lover of all things. Jeffrey writes about his travels and life experiences on his blog and shares his visual perceptions of the world… “one pixel at a time”. “For me, there are always things to do, places to see, and people to meet. I think. I live. I loaf.”
