Every fall, representatives from Emory University's Greek organizations gather in a remote location for the annual leadership development retreat, The Outdoor Greek Adventure Leadership Retreat, or TOGA. The participants are emerging leaders in the sorority and fraternity community and/or in their individual chapter. The participants are divided into small groups (called chapters), each with a pair of facilitators who are past and present leaders within the Greek community. The purpose of this weekend retreat is to cultivate positive relationships between chapters, team building, and fun! Leadership and teamwork workshops are followed by recreational activities and a bonfire at night.
