Usually during the first week of September on McDonough Field, “Makarios Day” is when the entire sorority and fraternity community officially welcomes the freshmen class to Emory. The New Student Record is traditionally distributed at this event, in addition to the music, food, games, and great prizes. Last year’s event was one of the highlights of the semester and drew over 2,000 people!
