Strategic Planning Committee (Partnership for the Improvement
of Greek Life) is formed with four sub-committees to
evaluate and make recommendations in the areas of Fraternity
Life, Sorority Life, Black Greek Issues and Greek Facilities.
The Intersorority Council receives
eight awards at the annual Southeastern Panhellenic Conference.
Delta Gamma Sorority closes their
chapter due to low membership totals.
Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity is closed
by their National Office due to low membership.

Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity is suspended by their National
Office. Option to re-colonize in 2-4 years.

The chapter is found responsible of thirteen violations of hazing and University
policy. Option to re-colonize in three years.

charter with seven members.

Our Chapter Our Choice program introduced to
the Greek system by the National Interfraternity Conference (NIC).
Pi Kappa Alpha and Sigma Nu become the first
fraternities to join the Phoenix Plan.
