The ISC is
the representative body governing the sororities
at Emory. Its goal is to build interfraternalism among sororities and
promote positive
values to the Emory community. The ISC derives its
strength from a strong belief in the importance of attaining goals
related to personal
growth of individual Greek women, and it strives
to assist sorority women develop leadership skills while supporting
one another. Elected
ISC officers are encouraged to operate with as much
independence as their successful performance warrants, in harmony with
the ideals
of the University. The ISC is a member of the Southern
Panhellenic Conference (SEPC).
