Moral rectitude, sound learning, and friendship are the principles upon which Phi Delta Theta was founded upon in 1848 at Miami University (OH). Currently, Phi Delt has grown into one of the largest national fraternities with over 190 chapters located throughout the US and Canada. Emory’s Georgia Beta chapter of Phi Delta Theta was founded in 1871.
