The Chi Phi house was originally
constructed in 1930. Since then, the house has had
a very colorful history; the original house burned
in 1946, was rebuilt the
following year, added onto in 1957, and burned down and rebuilt again in 1978.
After being reconstructed in 1978, the house was named after Emory and Chi Phi
alum, Tom Connally. This house is one of the largest
houses on the Row.
It features a formal parlor and
boardroom, banquet and recreational room, two studies, a lounge, and a kitchen.
The house has four stories and accommodates 44 residents in double rooms furnished
with full-sized beds and suite-style bathrooms.
