The sorority and fraternity community prides itself on its diversity. A number of organizations currently on campus were founded with the interests of specific cultural groups. Several chapters co-sponsor activities to enable members to learn about nationalities, religions, cultures, and races which may be different from their own. Many chapters also sponsor and participate in various programs during Multicultural Awareness Month.
