In 1851 at Wesleyan College (GA), the first college chartered to grant degrees to women, Alpha Delta Pi was founded and today is the oldest secret society for college women in the world. Now with over 130 chapters, the organization remains based on scholarship, service to the community, and personal development for all members. Emory’s Delta Alpha chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded in 1959.
