Delta Phi Lambda Sorority was founded in April of 1998
on the campus of University of Georgia. The mission was to promote Asian culture
and awareness, while stripping away stereotypes attributed to Asians. One of
the main purposes of the organization is to promote multiculturalism with an
emphasis on Asian awareness, reaching out to the community, and embracing fellow
women into a nurturing environment. Emory’s Beta chapter of Delta Phi
Lambda was founded in 2003.
