Kappa Kappa Gamma, one of the first sororities, was founded in 1870 on the campus on Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois. Today there are over 131 collegiate chapters, 330 alumnae associations and more than 180,000 members nationwide. Emory’s Epsilon Epsilon chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma was founded in 1959.
