Lambda Theta Alpha is the first Latina sorority in the nation. Founded in 1975 at Kean University in New Jersey, Lambda Theta Alpha was created upon the principles of unity, love, and respect. The Gamma Nu chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha was founded at Emory in 2003.
