Area Directors serve as supervisors to student staff, including Residence Hall
Directors, Resident Advisors, and Sophomore Advisors, who work in
the residence halls in their area. Area Directors are representatives
of the Vice President for Campus Life and respond to emergency situations
involving Emory students.
Area Directors hold Master’s Degrees in
student personnel (or a related field), and are full-time professional
staff members. Each Area Director
resides in an on-campus residence hall.
