Tennis Camps
ETC, LLC (John Browning) and Bryant Camps, LLC (Amy Bryant) provides high quality instruction for
boys and girls ages 5-18 at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced
training
levels. Drill work focuses on all aspects of both the doubles and singles
games. Match play strategy is also emphasized. Each camper will receive comprehensive
instruction to improve his or her individual game. Full-day and morning sessions
are available.

Total Sports Academy
Total Sports Academy, LLC is excited to offer a multi-sports camp
for boys and girls ages 5-18. Half-day and full-day camps are available.
Total Sports Academy is a non-specialized camp for children who have
not made the commitment to one sport. The goal is simply to provide
campers with comprehensive athletic skills to last a lifetime.
Total Sports Academy’s primary goal is to provide campers
with a fun, and most importantly, a safe environment. Each day will
include
specialized instruction in tennis, basketball, soccer, volleyball,
agilities, and motor skills. Campers will participate in individual
and group drills,
as well as, have the opportunity to incorporate the skills learned in
organized games and game situations throughout the week.

Challenge & Champions
The Emory University
Division of Educational Studies has a three week summer day camp for
middle schoolers at Clairmont Campus. It is a great blend of academics,
physical
fitness, wellness, study skills, and social skills. Students take
two interdisciplinary classes in the morning that use many of the university's
resources. Study
skills and learning strategies are integrated into the classes. In
the afternoon, students take two physical education skill building
classes
and have free swim time. Space is limited.

Girls Basketball
The day camp is offered to girls ages 5 - 17 and is designed to improve all around fundamental basketball skills
including:
ball handling, passing, shooting, screening, post offense, defensive
techniques, and team strategies. Daily sessions will include individual
drills, demonstrations, fun competitions, and games. Extended Care
is also available from 8:00am - 9:00am and 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

Girls Volleyball
Emory’s Women’s Volleyball coach Jenny McDowell offers a series of
volleyball camps for girls of all ages. She is offering one camp
at the SAAC and
several others at the George Woodruff Physical Education Center on

Youth Day Camp | Ages 8-12
This camp is designed to introduce the basic skills and concepts
of the game of volleyball to new players in a positive and fun
environment.
Individual Skills Camp | Grades 7-12
The Individual Skills Camps are for players who want to develop
and strengthen all the fundamental skills of volleyball. In addition,
strategies and
team concepts will be taught. Players will be grouped according
to
age and skill level.
Setters Day Camp | Grades 7-12
This camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of setting. Setters
will be grouped based on skill levels and trained accordingly.
All aspects
of setting will be taught and emphasized, including: proper
delivery, advanced footwork, body position, running the offense, and
being
an effective team leader.
Libero Day Camp | Grades 7-12
This camp is designed to improve defensive skills and to prepare
campers to become an outstanding libero. We will focus on footwork,
platform
positioning, reading hitters, passing, digging, coverage, and
serving. The campcaters to both beginning liberos and to the
most experienced
high school liberos.
Team Camp | Grades 7-12
The team camp consists of team bonding activities; individual volleyball
skill development; team offensive, and defensive system training;
team competition; and a camp tournament. High school coaches
are encouraged
but not required to attend.
