The Student Activity & Academic Center facilities are sure to meet your swimming, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and strength & conditioning needs. In addition, the Center is equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms and a café.

- Swimmers of all ages and abilities can enjoy exercising and sun bathing at the Student Activity & Academic Center. Three pools are available for use: a teaching pool (4 lane, 25 yard), a 50-meter Olympic size pool, and a 1’ deep children’s wading pool. The swimming pool also has two 1-meter diving boards and two 3-meter diving boards.

- Eight tennis courts (6 hard, 2 clay) are available to Student Activity & Academic Center members. Courts are open during facility hours and are lit at night. Enjoy the speed of the six hard courts or the comfort of the two clay courts.

- The Multipurpose Field may be used for a variety of activities ranging from Intramural Games (soccer, ultimate frisbee, football) to campus-sponsored musical concerts.

- Enjoy volleyball on two surfaces at the Student Activity & Academic Center. Both outdoor and indoor courts are available. Play volleyball outdoors in the sand or in the multipurpose gym.

- The workout area of the Student Activity & Academic Center features 5 Woodway treadmills, 8 arc trainers, and 16 pieces of strength and conditioning training equipment by Cybex. We also feature free weights ranging from 5 to 75 pounds. Additionally, the fitness center has a cardio theater with 6 large screen televisions.

- Several classrooms are available for use in the Student Activity & Academic Center. While classes will occupy these rooms during the day, the space is available for reservation or use by members during unoccupied times. Also available are seminar rooms and a multipurpose room.

- In the Student Activity & Academic Center, you can enjoy the convenience of the café. Grill menu items and fast food are available for exercise enthusiasts or individuals who just want to relax and enjoy the view of the pools and tennis courts.

- Our gym is large enough for two side-by-side basketball games or volleyball games or three badminton games to be played simultaneously. Check with our staff so they can set up the volleyball or badminton nets for you if a court is available.

- The Student Activity & Academic Center features a computer lab and study space with ten Macintosh computers. This lab is open to Emory students, faculty, and staff.
