There are many parking options that are available to patrons of the Student Activity & Academic Center.

General Parking Information

The Clairmont Parking Deck requires a hangtag displayed on the rear view mirror of the vehicle, and a decal affixed to the outside, lower-left corner rear windshield by its own adhesive. Both the hangtag and decal are required to be displayed and visible at all times. Any vehicles not displaying the proper hangtag and decal are subject to an Emory parking violation. Please remember these rules and regulations are for the protection and safety of your vehicle on the Clairmont Campus.

Patrons whom are eligible to purchase parking at the Student Activity & Academic Center will receive one hangtag and two decals. The decals can be placed in two separate cars and the hangtag must be switched from one car to the other. Patrons whom are eligible to purchase parking can purchase an unlimited number of parking passes.

Student & Student Spouse/Registered Partner Parking
Students must register with the parking office located at 1701 Lowergate Drive, Atlanta, GA 30322. Students will then be assigned to an on-campus parking deck and will ride either the ‘C’ or ‘E’ shuttle to the Clairmont Campus. At this time we cannot sell the Student Activity & Academic Center parking passes to part-time/full-time undergraduate/graduate students.

Clairmont Campus Resident Parking
Clairmont Campus residents must register with the parking office located at 1945 Starvine Way, Decatur, Georgia 30033. Clairmont campus residents will then be assigned to the Undergraduate Residential Center or Graduate Residential Center. Clairmont residents will ride either the ‘C’ or ‘E’ shuttle to and from the Clairmont Campus. At this time we cannot sell the Student Activity & Academic Center parking passes to Clairmont Campus residents.

Faculty/Staff Parking
Faculty/Staff members must register with the parking office located at 1701 Lowergate Drive, Atlanta, GA 30322 before being issued a Student Activity & Academic Center parking pass. After receiving a hangtag, please bring it to the Student Activity & Academic Center information desk.

Members will need to visit the level 3 entrance of the Clairmont Parking Deck. The attendant on duty will allow the patron to enter the deck for 15 minutes in order to purchase a Student Acitivity & Academic Center parking permit. Once the permit is purchased the patron will need to visit the Clairmont Campus Parking Office between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday for permit pick-up or allow one business day for the parking pass to arrive at the Student Activity & Academic Center. Once the permit is purchased and claimed the Clairmont Parking Deck requires a hangtag displayed on the rear view mirror of the vehicle, and a decal affixed to the outside, lower-left corner rear windshield by its own adhesive. Both the hangtag and decal are required to be displayed and visible at all times. Any vehicles not displaying the proper hangtag and decal are subject to an Emory parking violation. The first offense will result in a $30.00 citation for "registration/display violations". The second offense will result in a $70.00 citation for "registration/display violations" and "unauthorized entry into gate-controlled areas". The Student Activity & Academic Center parking pass is eligible for parking in the Clairmont Parking Deck only.

Annual members are eligible to purchase parking at $7.00 per month until the expiration date of their membership or until January 31, 2010.
Summer Extended members are eligible to purchase parking at $7.00 per month until November 1.
Summer members are eligible to purchase parking at $7.00 per month until Labor Day.

Alumni/Affiliate & Community Parking
Alumni/Affiliate members can purchase parking by visiting the Student Activity & Academic Center information desk. Alumni/Affiliate members are eligible to purchase parking for the Clairmont Parking Deck only.

Swim, Tennis, Camp, or Other Lessons Parking
Those patrons involved with swim, tennis, camps, or other Student Activity & Academic Center lessons can purchase parking by visiting the Student Activity & Academic Center information desk. These patrons are eligible to purchase parking for the Clairmont Parking Deck only.
