EPD, in conjunction with the Office of Community Services, provides security
escort to ensure the safety of those who travel the campus. These escorts are
provided by the Community Services Officers, Student Patrol, and EPD officers.
To request the escort service, call 404.727.8005 after hours, or 404.727.PARK
during the day. The EPD dispatch or Community Services office will arrange
for an escort to meet you and accompany you to your
destination.

Emory University’s Office of Community Services operates a shuttle bus service
between major buildings, parking areas, and residential centers. The drivers
are in direct contact with the Community Services Dispatch via radio. Contact
the Office of Community Services at 404.727.1829 for their shuttle routes
and hours of operation.

There are many Blue-Light phones located through the entire Emory University
campus that provide a direct connection to the EPD Communications Center,
staffed 24-hours-a-day. If you have or know of a crime that is occurring,
a fire or medical emergency, or need to request an escort, simply pick
up the handset or press the “call” button and you will be connected to
a 9-1-1
operator. Remember – help is just a call away!
Additionally, all elevators on campus are
directly linked to the EPD Communications Center.
