President Park Housing Eligibility Graduate students should carry a minimum of ten hours per semester in order to qualify for housing at President Park. When a tenant's affiliation with Emory University terminates (i.e. graduation, completion of position, etc.) his/her eligibility for President Park housing ceases. OPT (Optional Practical Training) is defined as work authorization from the U.S. government performed before or after graduation. If after graduation, the student is typically no longer enrolled at Emory and therefore has no official connection with Emory University making him/her ineligible to remain in residence at President Park. Students who graduate and enter OPT training should anticipate having to terminate the Lease Agreement and seek off-campus housing. |
