What previous experiences in your life do you think have contributed to your success?
Living with a single mother and older sibling has taught me early on how to be a man of a household. I had to help out because my father was not there, and it was hard for my mom. She helped me learn that life is about what you leave behind.

What do you feel you bring to RLH as a staff member?
Positivity. I love helping others so when I see people sad I genuinely desire to cheer them up.

How do you feel your experiences with RLH will benefit you in the future?
Valuable experiences in terms of working with others and networking. The biggest gain will be all of the friends I have made and the way being an RA has shaped me grow into a young man. Following the lessons of my mother is no easy feat!

What other activities/hobbies are you involved in on or off campus:
Staff writer for the Wheel/Voices of Inner Strength gospel choir.
