SAAC Assistant

Each SAAC Assistant performs a variety of duties that assist in the operation of the Student Activity & Academic Center. These important positions will challenge the abilities of those chosen and offer them valuable skills in communication, management, and organization.

SAAC Assistant hours are tentatively Monday through Friday, 6:45am to 12:15am, Saturday and Sunday, 7:45 am to 12:15am. Although weekly schedules will vary, SAAC Assistants are expected to work approximately 8-12 hours per week.

Summer SAAC Assistants are required to work 15 hours per week. Staff members must work together to cover all shifts on the weekly schedule, including any early morning and late night shifts. SAAC Assistants are not required to work during academic break periods, but may work extra hours if available to help with coverage.

Employment Dates

The SAAC is currently hiring SAAC Assistants for Summer 2014/Academic Year 2014-15. Employees must be able to work both Summer 2014 and Academic Year 2014-2015 to apply.

SAAC Assistants will work from Thursday, May 8, 2014 through Monday, May 11, 2015.

Additionally, SAAC Managers must attend the following training sessions:
