Your Living-Learning Communities Staff
Staffing for Living-Learning Communities are based on the composition of the residence hall in which the community is placed. Communities designed specifically for first-year students are staffed differently from upperclass communities. To learn more about your staff, please follow the links in the menu on the left.
First Year at Emory (FYE) is overseen by Area Director Ryan Roche '03Ox '05C. Ryan is a two-time graduate of Emory University, having graduated from both Oxford College and Emory College. While a student at Emory, he was an active participant in the Student Alumni Association, University Chorus and Concert Choir, and worked in various positions for Residence Life & Housing. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2005, Ryan obtained his Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University's Andrew Young School of Policy Studies in 2007 with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. Returning to his alma mater as a staff member, Ryan remains active in the alumni community. He serves on the Oxford College Alumni Board, Emory Annual Fund Board, and other alumni steering committees.
Second Year at Emory (SYE) is overseen by Area Director Judith Pannell. Judith received her Masters at Arizona State University and studied at Brenau University prior to that. Judith is a native of Atlanta, and currently resides in Woodruff Hall with her new puppy, Monty.
