Past Themes

Theme Housing is not guaranteed from year-to-year. Students who wish to reside in a "themed community" past their first year may apply for their theme to be developed as a "theme hall" for the next academic year. Each themed community must be affiliated or advised by an on-campus department or organization.

We have had many successful themes in the past (see below). If you are interested in pursuing a theme housing option, please contact Jeff Tate, Assistant Director of Operations at or at 404.727.8848.

Past themes have included:

SPICE (Students' Program for International Cultural Exchange)

SHARE (Service House for Action and Reflection at Emory)

Arts Hall

MESAS Hall (Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies)

BSA House (Black Student Alliance)

OEO House (Outdoor Emory Organization / Asbury House)

CIL (Center for International Living)
